About Role

  • Generating new business pipeline through prospecting outbound opportunities
  • Gaining interest through email and social media reach out and outbound cold calling
  • Speaking to a set of existing customers and breaking into net new logos in your assigned territory

They do this by...

  • Partnering closely with Account Executives to identify and source net new pipeline that leads to closed revenue and quota attainment
  • Discovering business initiatives and acting as their internal advocate
  • Building a point of view on how to help qualify customers needs
  • Speaking to value and return on investment vs. technical functionality
  • Building credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders
  • Learning how to anticipate and prepare for objections
  • Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility as part of an ever-growing sales organization
  • Managing a high volume of accounts with a strategy on prioritization of your accounts and time

Job description 

Cloud Solution Architect is a technical leadership role that involves understanding the needs of various clients across multiple industry verticals in US, Canada, Europe, and other parts of the world, architecting cloud solutions in one or more of public clouds (AWS / Azure / GCP). And preferably, lead the delivery of the solution to clients. This is currently a remote role and can be hybrid in future.

Responsibilities

Architect cloud solutions (AWS / Azure / GCP) after understanding the needs of the Fortune 500 and mid size clients in US, Canada, and Europe. Size the resources / team required for delivery of project to build the costing of the project. Though not necessary, but we would prefer that the solution architect also delivers those solutions to clients.

Qualifications

  • Identifying and addressing client needs, building client relationships and communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner about the solution approach and end to end solution delivery
  • Experience with any one of the cloud platforms and providers, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure
  • Strong track record of implementing multiple cloud applications, leading highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments
  • Experience in assessing existing large scale IT environments towards migration to Cloud
  • Lead technical discussions with other Solutions architects, engineers, infrastructure teams, service providers, security, and other stakeholders to align on future state architecture and application hosting services in a hybrid environment
  • Hands on Cloud engineering experience on Compute, storage and network domains
  • Evaluating cloud application requirements and make architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning applications;
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud.
  • Hands on working experience using cloud development framework
  • Deep understanding of Integration platforms and protocols (REST, SOAP, HTTP, UDP etc.)
  • Working experience integrating Saas products like Salesforce, Workday, SAP; and,
  • Experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub etc.
  • Working experience in database access protocols such as MongoDB, NoSQL, and Hadoop.
